Total Recall

Every morning I go under the city
I tunnel down
I tunnel back
Let me take you down
Let me take you downtown

Look over there
Abandoned dye-transfer factory
Look over there
Twist faces of Georgetown
Who can afford Georgetown

I lost track of my cherry
I lost track of my vanilla
If they ask about me
Tell em I died in Manila

Patterns of dissection recur
Holler back holler back
Holler back girl
I live on the 99th floor
Of nowhere
Let me take you there
Let me take you downtown

You know I wonder where
This could have gone on if not for here
These stories of creation
These stories right here
These stories these stories these stories
rackin’ back
And taking names
Tracking back and taking names
When they ask about you
When they ask about you
I’ll say you’re not to blame
I’ll say you were never to blame
